Perceiving and responding to challenges in job crafting at different ranks: when proactivity requires adaptivity

Several qualitative studies are conducted to explain the different challenges and responses that are associated with the job crafting observed in employees at different ranks. The differences observed in the responses exhibited by the higher-rank and lower-rank employees are also discussed.
