Abstract
- Changes in the social values in the U.S. from 1976-2007 are examined in a national survey that tackles main demographic variables. Findings show that self-respect is regarded with the greatest importance, followed by warm relationships and self-fulfillment, while sense of belonging diminished in all age groups.
