Foggy outlook for U.S. ports

Companies seeking marine transportation now have choice of port selection on basis of services. Intermodal, minibridge, and microbridge modes have contributed significantly to availability of these services. Current maritime deregulation plans, especially user-fees, will intensify the competition among ports.
