Abstract

St. Joseph's Hospital-North, a new facility in Hillsborough County, Florida, has hired approximately 500 workers, with the 450 full-time positions payed $22-$23 per hour. The $225 million hospital, which opened on February 15, 2009, is expected to help boost the health care segment of the state's Tampa Bay region.
