Abstract

A study was conducted to evaluate the efficacy and benefits of glycated hemoglobin as a more appropriate diagnostic test for diabetes as compared to the normally followed fasting glucose. Results indicated that glycated hemoglobin was far better as a predictor of risks of diabetes and cardiovascular diseases.
