Abstract

A simplified procedure is described for the interferometric determination of optical dispersions of refractive-index changes in a low-[T.sub.g] photorefractive (PR) polymer. A two-level model is used for the optical dispersions in order to separately evaluate the index changes occurring because of molecular birefringence and first-order electronic electro-optic effects.
