Abstract

A study was conducted to evaluate the efficacy of platelet dose of prophylactic in the prevention of bleeding or hemorrhage in patients with hypoproliferative thrombocytopenia. Results indicated that only low doses of platelet transfusions led to a reduction in bleeding.
