Abstract
- A study was conducted to evaluate whether intravenous drug administration in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) would help improve the survival rate for out-of-hospital cardiac arrest. Results indicated that patients who received such intravenous administration had higher rates of short-term survival, but no significant differences in long-term survival and quality of CPR.
