Abstract
- A joint team from the American Petroleum Institute and the Association of Oil Pipe Lines is working to develop standard guidelines for the submission of Global Positioning System coordinates to aid the location of pipelines. Potential sources of GPS error include coordinate nomenclature, datum selection, and accuracy.
