Abstract: The various mechanisms associated with the supramolecular complexation and enantiodifferentiating photocyclodimerization of 2-anthracenecarboxylic acid with 4-aminoprolinol derivatives are discussed. A new protocol for determining the mechanism of photochirogenesis of the system is also explained.
