Abstract

Several American dairy processors have managed to continue to export in the Southeast Asian markets despite the Asian financial crisis. US dairy companies are surviving the Asian meltdown by helping their Southeast Asian customers find ways of reducing their costs. One approach is finding less expensive replacement ingredients.
