Abstract
- Several spectroscopic time-resolved high-energy x-ray diffraction measurements are conducted to study the laser-induced shock and acoustic waves being generated in single crystalline silicon. The propagation of the wave is shown to be highly dependent on the sample geometry of the crystal.
