Abstract

Cause-related marketing have been effective for businesses but its success as a fundraiser for breast cancer research is not clear cut. The idea to use pink ribbons for cause-related marketing for the benefit of breast cancer research became synonymous wit the Susan G. Komen for the Cure but it has competitors in the field.
