Abstract
- The properties of ionized-donor-bound excitons in a parabolic quantum-well wire in the presence of a magnetic field are analyzed in the framework of effective-mass envelope function theory. The results have shown that the binding energy has increased as the oscillator length has decreased and that it is also enhanced by increasing the magnetic field.
