Abstract

Doctor Jack Kevorkian has indulged in a campaign to observe assisted suicide which undermines conventional medical ethics. Kevorkian upholds the belief that assisted suicide is a benevolent means to relieve the sufferings of a dying or terminally ill patient. He also stresses that the organs of the said patient could be harvested and used in transplants. His intentions, which may seem sympathetic to the hopelessly ill person, remain unethical and immoral.
