Supply chain financing: using cash-to-cash variables to strengthen the supply chain

A study uses a case-based approach to explore the manner in which supply chain financial management techniques can be used to improve supply chain performance and profitability. A methodology and related scenarios are presented to demonstrate that collaborative management of cash-to-cash cycles and sharing weighted average cost of capital (WACC) with trading partners can be used to improve supply chain performance and profitability.
