Abstract
- Engineering students who design and build human-powered submarines competed in the annual World Submarine Invitational in San Diego. The race was the first since the 1992 contest that was held in the open seas. The ocean provided diversions and the competition ended early on the first day because of choppy waters and heavy winds.
