Abstract
- Context cueing is a vital process in visual activities. Context cueing refers to the use of past experiences to guide visual attention to targeted aspects of complex scenes. In an array of images, visual context can guide spatial attention directly to targeted items or spaces. Additionally, contextual cueing is acquired through incidental learning processes. It is also facilitated by memory-based mechanisms.
