Abstract
- Three manganites exhibiting the same Mn(super3+)/Mn(super4+) = 1:1 concentration, but showing a distinct magnetic behaviour, have been studied. The study is complemented for dat on two 30% systems of Mn(super4+), the ferromagnetic metal Pr(sub0.7)Sr(sub0.1)Ca(sub0.2)MnO(sub3) and insulator Pr(sub0.85)K(sub0.15)MnO(sub3). It is seen than phonons and charge carriers couple via the Jahn-Teller effect.
