Abstract
- A new electromagnetic rotary mechanism based on a friction drive has been proposed. The electromagnetic vibration on a permanent magnet was converted to rotary movement via a frictional force, and a trial motor, consisting of a magnet rotor, inclined legs and an excitation coil, was developed and successfully operated. A no-load revolution speed of up to 400 rpm and reversible rotation were obtained.
