A statistical approach developed to the analysis of interval judgments in the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is both effective and rewarding. The mean of the distribution may be employed as a measurement of the ranking of the choices and other quantities of interest, such as probabilities and marginal distributions for the weights, may be quantified.
