Imperfect maintenance policies for deteriorating production systems

Two maintenance strategies were formulated to deal with imperfect maintenance policies used in deteriorating production systems. The two strategies, namely equally spaced and equally cumulative-hazard, are specifically utilized in a situation where maintenance action is imperfect and may bring a production system to a worse condition. Both strategies were proven effective in leading any search procedure attain optimal maintenance policies.
