Abstract

The ability of international research teams to succeed in human resources management (HRM) research are likely to be an interplay of the 'significance' of the research project, the commitment of the team to the research, the applicability growth of the research into other fields of expertise and the support generated by the team in the course of the research. Some of the promising themes in human resources management research include its potential role in the development and sustenance of the corporate strategy, HRM's in stemming organizational dysfunction and its role in new ventures as well as in a deregulated and privatized industry.
