Abstract
- An analytical model for evaluating the input-output life cycle of automobiles was developed in an effort to provide environmental regulators an efficient instrument of analyzing the impact of gas emissions to the environment, in the context of pollutant contents. The EIO-LCA framework outlines various indicators that help link product service with environmental quality, including energy, ores and fertilizers. It was found that automobile driving consumes more energy than servicing, producing and disposing of vehicles.
