What young men do

Cultural wars between the Dayaks and Madurese in Jakarta, Indonesia, are described. Traditional warfare customs continue to be practiced, with ritualized killings, decapitation, removal of internal organs, decimation of livestock and burning of homes. Although cultural war participants rely on a certain degree of mysticism to maintain levels of fear, they are shown simply to be humans who enjoy killing others.
