Abstract
- A numerical model of pulsed Raman fiber converters is developed in the near infrared around 2 [micro]m, where the theory is based on Feynman-like diagrams describing each possible interaction between photons and phonons in the Raman medium. The simulation has modeled single-pass or cavity configurations as it has included copropagating and counterpropagating waves, calculating the spectral power density and the temporal repartition of the pulse at the output of the fiber.
