Abstract
- A $33 million settlement deal between Bank of America and the Securities and Exchange Commission over the disclosure of bonuses paid to employees of Merrill Lynch prior to its acquisition by BofA has been turfed by Judge Jed Rakoff, who said that the deal is asking the shareholders, who are the victims of the supposed misconduct to pay the fine.
