Abstract

A study has concluded some 1.8 million school children eat packed lunches. Many food manufacturers have introduced new products to particularly appeal to the lunchbox market. Parents often buy items following constant requests from their children. Advertising of novelty products helps to increase sales. Many products, for lunchboxes, are sold in multipacks allowing the purchase of sufficient items for a whole week.
