Dazzled by shiny, happy, out New Labour

Some homosexuals in the UK seem to have been tricked by political propaganda into believing that the government will put an end to discrimination against them. In fact, Home Secretary Jack Straw has dropped a pre-election promise of anti-discrimination legislation on the basis of sexual orientation, and Prime Minister Tony Blair, although he has condemned homophobes, has done nothing positive to assist homosexuals. It is important that homosexuals are not blinded to these truths by the fact that a few MPs are openly homosexual.
