Abstract
- A genetic mapping technique called low-resolution macrorestriction map was utilized to develop an ordered cloned DNA map of the 3.2-Mb chromosome of the hypertoxinogenic strain 569B of Vibrio cholerae. This resulted to the creation of a cosmid library that features 120 Mb of genomic DNA. The cloned DNA map features 27 cloned genes, 10 copies of a repetitive DNA sequence and nine rrn operons.
