Too many students are holding jobs for too many hours

Most undergraduate students work to avoid loan debts or to lessen the amount they must borrow. This is part of the debate surrounding the reauthorization of Higher Education Act and lowering interest rates on student loans. If Congress passes this measure, it would encourage students to reduce their work hours and borrow to make up the difference.
