Abstract: A benthic/pelagic food web bioaccumulation model was developed using data accumulated from Western Lake Erie. The model was designed to derive chemical concentration estimates from filter-feeding and detritovorous benthic invertebrates, zooplankton, phytoplankton, and fish. Data on PCB concentrations in the lake was used to test the model.
