Abstract
- A survey of 375 chairmen and non-executives reveals that 70% of non-executives think that the entire amount of executive compensation and the rate of basic salary as a portion of total compensation are somewhat right. Results also show that 77% agree or strongly agree that yearly bonus plans represent strategic corporate priorities. Implications for managing executive compensation are discussed.
