A slot reuse scheme for CRMA networks

A new scheme is developed to overcome the disadvantage posed by the inability to reuse slots in the same region in the cyclic reservation multiple access scheme. The Modified Finding Region reservation scheme is an improvement on the scheme proposed by Huang wherein he divided the network into a set of independent regions and uses two types of reserve command to effect the use of a designated buffer, a group of contiguous slot. It is this buffer which can be reused in the region.
