Abstract

It is unlikely that a single production company (GPB) as part of the Netherlands' electricity company mergers will be established in its current form. Many of the negotiation partners believe that the merger attempt should be terminated due to conflict over belief in deregulation and ultimate privatization of public utilities. Under the GPB draft consitution, it was concluded that supervisory board members would not act independently and that there would be a conflict of interests.
