Political realities hit medical school rolls

The admission of African American students into medical colleges may be greatly affected by the elimination of affirmative action. Mississippi, Texas, Louisiana, and California have decided not to implement affirmative action on medical school admissions. Black American applications in California has already decreased by 9.2%.
