Abstract
- Polarization curve and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy tests are used for examining the corrosion kinetics for both spark plasma sintered (SPS) and conventional sintered Nd-Fe-B magnets in different electrolytes. The studies have shown that the unique microstructure in SPS magnets has restrained the aggressive intergranular corrosion taking place along Nd-rich phases in conventional magnets.
