Congressional outlook '98

The chemical industry has several things to look forward to in 1998 with regards federal intervention. Issues to be tackled by Congress include the balanced budget agreement, superfund legislation, science and technology issues, implementation of the chemical weapons treaty, hazardous waste legislation, monitoring of Department of Energy laboratories, climate change legislation and regulatory reform.
