Abstract
- Experiments were conducted to determine the effect of deliberation on the preference consistency of consumers. It was hypothesized that deliberation leads to the inconsistent weighing of information. Findings indicate that the extent to which deliberation decreases preference consistency depends upon the complexity of information.
