Look up at the sky. Do you see a cloud drifting by? There are all types of clouds from cumulus to cirrus to stratus and so on. One of the key technology terms for 2009 is "cloud computing." It is not about making pictures out of cloud formations, or about cloudy days surrounding our economy, or even about the search for silver linings within each cloud. It is about moving your computing into the clouds and how that process will affect things you do this year and for all the years that follow.
