C&EN: 75 years of great chemistry

Abstract: The inclusion of a News Edition to the American Chemical Society's Journal of Industrial & Engineering Society (I&EC) in 1923 has led to many changes until the journal was renamed Chemical & Engineering News (C&EN) in 1942. The changes include the expansion of pages, number of staff, and by 1943, the subscribers increased to 30,000. Further, the enhanced computerization of C&EN in 1989 opened up more graphical innovations for the periodical.
