Secure spread spectrum watermarking for multimedia

The growing prevalence in the distribution of copyright materials is sustaining a need for tamper-proof electronic watermarking. Such requirements can be met by a watermark that consists of an independent and identically distributed Gaussian random vector inserted imperceptibly into the work being protected. Methods of inserting tamper-proof watermarks are suggested.
