Abstract
- An endogenous choice set model is presented to assess the random utility model by forecasting which substitutes of a conventionally defined choice set are significant to individuals. Results from the analysis of examples reveals that a defined choice set in recreation site decision models may have a significant effect on parameter and compensating variation models.
