Abstract
- An accounting system which could provide the public with information regarding a nonprofit organization's benefit to the public interest could be instituted and would be particularly useful in the hospital sector. The system should take into account sources and uses of all the organization's resources. How efficiently resources, such as medical labor, are used may be as important as the quantity of resources controlled.
