Abstract
- A study designed to assess ethnic differences in the health and psychosocial behaviour of adolescent females with eating disorders finds that many factors are common to all groups. Among the factors associated with binge eating in all ethnic groups are perceived overweight, body dissatisfaction, low body pride, concerns over peer acceptance and emotional stress.
