Experimental study of current sharing and transfer in superconductor joint

An experimental study was conducted on current transfer and sharing in superconducting joints. Hall probes were attached to the joint block to examine current sharing variations. Results demonstrate the transverse current redistribution in the joint during overall current increases. Results were in agreement with those calculated using a proposed current loop model.
