Abstract
- Ball Aerospace has developed a spacecraft 'Kepler', for NASA that is expected to be launched on 5 March 2009 on a United Launch Alliance Delta II 7925-10L from Cape Canaveral. Named after the 17th-century mathematician and astronomer Johannes Kepler, the observatory will attempt to detect Earth-like planets orbiting 100,000 Sun-like stars in the Milky Way.
