Abstract
- The molecular structure and experimental behavior of the Li+(cryptand [2.1.1])e- electride were analyzed to characterize the inter-electron magnetic spin coupling and conductivity of the lithium electride. Analysis of the Li+(cryptand [2.1.1])e- electrides indicated the field dependence of magnetic susceptibility. The electride also exhibited weak spin anisotropy and electron-electron coupling reactions that were affected by small changes in crystal packing. Furthermore, steric interactions contributed to the dimerization of the electride.
