Statistical experimentation methods for achieving affordable concurrent systems design

An affordable technique for designing in the conceptual stage utilizing relatively high-fidelity concurrent systems analysis is presented. This procedure is based on three domains, namely, the design experiments, the response surface methodology, and the comprise decision support problem. A sequential experimentation strategy and the heuristic rules for creating high-order response surface models are proposed as a cost-effective procedure to applying the statistical experimentation techniques in design of complex systems.
