Abstract

The American Chemical Society (ACS) is aiming to integrate the varying needs of the present generation chemists, reconciling both the service-oriented and network-oriented chemists. ACS is scouting for chemists under 35 years old as the organization aims to boost its membership from 152,000 to 175,000 by 2001. The organization is in need of new young members who are acquainted with technology to guide ACS into the new technology era.
